My human is Terry Catasús Jennings. She is a writer.
That means she likes to spend hours and hours on the computer doing research and then spending even more hours finding just the right way to put her research into words.
Terry came to the United States from Cuba when she was 12 years old. The only thing she knew how to say in English is “See Dick run, see Jane run.” She didn’t do very well at first, but then she did. Now she writes books for children.
She loves learning and sharing cool facts about just about anything.
She has written two books for children: "Gopher to the Rescue, a Volcano Recovery Story" and "Women's Liberation, 1960-1990." Terry has also written in "Ranger Rick," "The Washington Post," and had family column in her local paper, "The Reston Connection." She also writes fun educational stuff for series called "Science and Technology for Children."
In addition to spending time with me, and doing her favorite things, Terry likes to look around. That's the way she gets ideas for her stories and finds stuff to tell me for my blogs
