KC's Wild Facts
WELCOME TO MY SITE!

Do you like to know cool stuff, like why boobies have blue feet? Or that gophers close their lips inside their teeth so they don’t swallow dirt when they dig? How about tiny ants that protect humongous trees? If you do, this is your site!

My human and I love wild facts about nature! Every couple of weeks I’ll share some of these facts with you right here on my blog. We look for the wild facts everywhere. My human always has her eyes and her ears wide open. She looks in magazines like Ranger Rick, Nat Geo Kids, Smithsonian Magazine, and National Geographic. She reads newspapers like The New York Times and The Washington Post looking for cool, wild stuff that adults get to read. If she finds something really cool in a book, she tells me. If she sees something wild in a museum, I hear about it. And then I share these wild facts with you on my blog.

And yes, my human is a writer, a children's writer. Her name is Terry Catasús Jennings and her book Gopher to the Rescue! A Volcano Recovery Story, was named Outstanding Science Trade Book for Students K-12 by the National Science Teachers' Association and the Children's Book Council. So since Terry loves writing so much, after you read the wild facts, she wants you go a little further. Go to your library or on the internet and read more. Become a real expert.
